Conversations with My 4 Year Old Brother: Rappers, The State University of New Jersey

Last night, we were watching MSG and a commercial advertising the Rutgers at St. John’s game on January 9th came on. I’m pumped because this is the first time I’ve attended a school in the Big East Conference and it’s going to be cool to finally have a team to cheer on. My undergrad, SUNY Oneonta, was D3 so I’m not used to such fanfare. Since I’m leaving my brothers again in a couple of weeks, I want them to recognize what Rutgers is so they know I didn’t disappear into thin air.

Alex: Luke! Look at the TV! It’s Allie’s school!

Luke: It’s Rappers!

Yes, I attend Rappers University. Word to yo’ brother.

Hello! My name is Alex but you can call me Alexandra if you're feeling fancy. Here you'll find my adventures about exploring my new city of Hoboken, NJ, scurrying over the Hudson River to NYC, my bicycle excursions, and how I'm learning to embrace in medias res.
