Alex in Transit(ion)

A great site

about this gal

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Alex and from May 2009 until January 2013, I haven’t lived in the same zip code for more than 6 months because my career required me to travel frequently. It got to the point that my friends started calling me Mary Poppins because I kept leaving whenever the wind changed…or whenever a new job assignment with a November deadline came up.

But that all has changed now that I finished graduate school and earned a Master of Public Administration at Rutgers University- Newark. Now, it looks like I’m staying put in the same zip code for a while, which is pretty good because I don’t know if the USPS appreciated me forwarding so much mail from address to address.

What you can expect from Alex in Transit(ion) are my musings about my life, my newfound adventures in Hoboken and NYC, and just trying to make the best out of this one shot I’ve got. I tend to keep things on the positive side. From my work, I’ve learned that progress occurs when we are involved in actions that empower one another, and that is what keeps me going every single day =D  If you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment =D
